Working with Steve was like being on a roller coaster that you never wanted to end. Yes, the highs were exhilarating, but the lows could be gut-wrenching. And through it all, Steve had this unique sense of humor that was as complex as the man himself. It was a blend of wit, irony, and sometimes a dash of sarcasm that could catch you off guard if you weren’t paying attention.

You’d be in a meeting, the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife, everyone tiptoeing around a problem, and then Steve would drop a one-liner that would simultaneously break the tension and challenge everyone to think differently. His humor wasn’t just for laughs; it was a tool he wielded to provoke thought, to cut through the noise, to get to the heart of the matter. It was as if he used humor to strip away the layers of complexity that often bog down creative work, revealing the core idea that we should all focus on.

But Steve’s humor wasn’t always easy to digest. It could be edgy, pushing you out of your comfort zone, forcing you to confront inconvenient truths. Yet, it was this very edge that made working with him so intellectually stimulating. You couldn’t be complacent around Steve; his humor wouldn’t allow it. It was a constant reminder that good enough was never enough, that the status quo was there to be challenged, and that thinking differently wasn’t just a slogan — it was a way of life. And in those moments when his wit shined brightest, you felt like you were part of something much bigger than yourself, something extraordinary.
